Overview:

We are looking for a highly ambitious and visionary creative all-rounder who thrives in the "white space" of early development and possesses a true pioneer spirit to join our team as a Realisation Designer.

Working as a key player in our IP team and working day-to-day/directly with the Creative Portfolio Director, the role demands versatility and creative problem solving.

The right candidate is a creative generalist who thrives in the early stages of ideation and pre-production, focusing on how visual design supports gameplay clarity, player readability, and the "moment-to-moment" experience across our console and PC titles.

This role requires a natural curiosity for cutting-edge workflows and the latest technologies to solve visual problems quickly. Ultimately, you are a versatile visual communicator who enjoys the challenge of wearing many hats and feels at home where the goal is to bridge the gap between a raw idea and a compelling, playable reality.
This is a high-impact role where you will support the development of new project proposals, internal prototypes, and co-development partnerships by bringing ideas to life through a wide range of visual disciplines.

What you'll do:

  • Create the visual assets needed for new project proposals and internal concept development.

  • Create 2D game art, 3D mockups (low-poly/block-outs), and UI/UX art and design.

  • Graphic design for high-stakes proposals and creating unique project identities and logos.

  • Creating motion graphic concepts and video editing to communicate gameplay intent dynamically.

  • Work closely with the creative leadership of Lucid to understand and interpret the creative vision behind each project.

  • Work closely with Game Designers to visually define mechanics, states, progression, and player actions.

  • Partner with Art Directors to ensure prototype visuals align with the overall visual style and tone of the game.

  • Help create high-quality deliverables and presentations that communicate gameplay intent to external partners.

  • Work alongside Developers and Technical Designers to implement, test, and iterate on gameplay visuals in-engine.

Job requirements

What we're looking for from you:

  • Experience in gameplay-focused design or visual development roles within the games industry.

  • Shipped console and/or PC titles.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of skills, from 2D painting and 3D layouts to graphic design and motion. Experience in brand development is a bonus.

  • A history of working in multidisciplinary teams where adaptability and rapid turnaround were key.

  • Strong understanding of game design fundamentals, especially player feedback, readability, and affordance.
