Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Hourly Wage: £12.60ph
We're looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our team, working one day per week on either a Monday or Tuesday. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to gain hands-on experience by providing essential daily support to our finance team. This role will be supporting our finance team and requires some accountancy knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Reporting into our Financial Controller you will have the following duties:
Data entry into the accounting software Xero
Bank Reconciliations
Organise supplier payment runs
Assist the Financial Controller with day-to-day tasks
Preparation of data for VAT Returns
Assist with ad hoc year end work including audit queries
Assist with various month end procedures, adhering to strict deadlines
Process monthly expenses for the business, liaising directly with employee queries
Review, organise, process and file invoices electronically
Other ad hoc duties
Job requirements
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficient understanding of accounting principles
Good attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy is essential
Knowledge or experience with Xero
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft software package, particularly Excel

Important:
The interview process for the Finance Assistant role is made up of 2 stages:
1st Interview – An 30 minute interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with our Financial Controller and Head of Talent. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
Onsite interview – A final Interview with our Financial Controller and Finance Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
